Dr A Shyam Mohan

Dr. A. Shyam Mohan is a distinguished prosthodontist with over 26 years of experience in clinical practice, academics, and research. With a strong commitment to dental education, he serves as a recognized PhD guide in Prosthodontics for Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Tamil Nadu, and is a PhD board member at Vinayaka Mission Research Foundation, Salem.

Dr. Mohan has made notable scholarly contributions with multiple publications and has been actively involved in editorial roles, serving as Associate Editor, Section Editor, and Reviewer for the Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society, as well as a reviewer for the international Journal of Oral Rehabilitation.

He is an active leader in professional organizations, currently serving as President Elect of the Indian Prosthodontic Society (IPS), Kerala State (2025–26), and as an EC member (2024–26). He has also contributed extensively as a keynote speaker, scientific session chairperson, and faculty member at numerous national and state conferences, CDE programs, and workshops. His leadership roles include organizing chairman of the IPS Kerala State Conference 2023 and involvement in several major academic conventions and conclaves.
