The PhD program at PMS College of Dental Science and Research was established in 2020. We are dedicated to advancing dental science through rigorous academic inquiry and proudly host 13 approved faculty members serving as expert research guides. To date, 17 students have successfully enrolled in our PhD program, with an additional 6 applications currently under review for upcoming admissions.
Our institution boasts six departments officially recognized as research centres by the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS). These encompass the Department of Oral Pathology & Microbiology, the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, and the Department of Periodontics. Additionally, the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, alongside Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics are fully recognized for advanced doctoral research.
