Our Journey Toward a Sustainable Green Campus

As part of our unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship, PMS College of Dental Science and Research has successfully transitioned toward renewable energy through the installation of a 200 kW solar power plant. Commissioned in late 2022, this initiative serves as the cornerstone of our "Green Campus" vision, significantly reducing our carbon footprint and operational costs.

Currently, our solar plant is functioning at optimal capacity, providing a reliable and sustainable power source that supports both our academic excellence and our responsibility toward the planet.

Key Outcomes and Efficiency

01

Substantial Energy Savings: Following the installation of solar panels, the college has seen a marked reduction in monthly electricity expenses compared to previous years.

02

Smart Conservation: Beyond solar power, we have further lowered energy consumption by integrating LED lighting and motion-sensor technology across the campus.

03

Proactive Maintenance: To ensure peak performance, our technical teams conduct regular cleaning and inspections. This diligent maintenance ensures that the system remains efficient even during challenging weather conditions.

04

Financial Incentives: Our transition to sustainable power has not only lowered costs but has also allowed the institution to benefit from significant power factor incentives, further proving the long-term viability of our green infrastructure.
